कुछ तसवीरें

Here are a few pix from my life. Literally, I spend my 98% of my time in and around these places.
My Car! Still very reliable. A perfect example of fill it, shut it, and forget it

My street outside the house. It snowed about 4-5 inches in the weekend. Gloomy!

The street outside my work. Mass Avenue. I love the bars on this street. Check the Miracle of Science and order food from the periodic table. Try C2 from the menu... very nice.

My desk at work. As you can see it is a mess.

Yeh Hosla

Another video on the famous song "Yeh Hosla". The taal used is Roopak (7 beats). I added some variations in middle. The sarangi player is just amazing (Punjab Gharana).

Mahaganapathim

My feeble attempt to play Bhajani (8beat) and Keherva to the carnatic kriti Mahaganpathim Bhaje.

Need to improve on maintaining the tempo.

Keherva taal

My affair with Tabla has been going on for about 15 years now. It is not steady, on and off thing, like the pop star relationships. For past year and a half, I have been taking training from Mr. Kazi Jalal. My guru and a great person!

Here is the basic Keherva (8 beats) with some variations. I will add more in future. In a few faster variations I'm not playing the beats clearly. More improvements in the next blog plus more variations.

Enjoi till then!
